Functional and institutional adjustment of state under impacts of globalization

  • Phạm Thái Việt

Abstract

In the progress of history, state functions are also

transformed from one to another, or there appear new

functions. Particularly, in the globalization age, the

demand for aligning state functions and institutions is

more visible. Options and priorities for such alignment

by states are differentiated; there remain common points

that need to be adjusted by states. Market and civil

society regulation inter alia is the one to be named.

In coping with these two above-mentioned tasks, each

state in accordance with its peculiar circumstances shall

put forward cardinal priorities or carry on them

simultaneously. These contents are discussed in this

article by Dr. Phạm Thái Việt.
