Influence of children literature on development of children’s personality in the renewal and international integration period

Abstract

Recently, the Center for Children Literature under the Hanoi School of Pedagogy organized a seminar on “Influence of children literature on development of children’s personality in the renewal and international integration period”. The event drew participation of a crowd of writers, researchers, lecturers, etc. More than thirty research papers, touching upon different aspects of the seminar’s theme, were sent to the organizing board of the seminar. Overall, the papers focused on three following major topics: literature for children today; children’s personality in the context of market economy and the trend in which children are welcoming literature; and, influence, impacts of children literature on development of children’s personality. This article summarized major contents extracted from some papers presented at the seminar.
