Abstract

In the period of 1936-1939, in Tonkin, revolutionary press developed strongly and openly which, as a consequence, facilitated a full and truthful reflection of the voice of the masses. Following the Party’s directions and based on the specific situation of the workers movement, Tonkin’s revolutionary press actively carried on propaganda to workers on the basic points of the Labor Law and provided a close look into their movement for a better life across the country. The active participation of Tonkin’s revolutionary press brought about various achievements to the struggle. Based on an analysis on articles related to the struggle on Tonkin’s revolutionary newspapers during the period of 1936-1939, the article uncovers the role and power of revolutionary press in the struggle for basic rights of the people.
