Abstract

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) plays an important role in socio-economic development of receiving countries. However, depend on condition of each country, these expects will be satisfied in full, in part or just a dream. Being evaluated as two countries with a “boom” in attracting FDI, but comparing contribution of FDI to economic development of Vietnam and China, we can realize many differences. Reasons of such differences may be not objective conditions but differences in policy making and ability to perform those polices in each country.
