Societal development and societal development governance: perception, problem, necessity for Vietnam and defining the research logic

  • Hoàng Chí Bảo

Abstract

Through the philosophical lens based on Marx’s
philosophy, the author analyzed and interpreted the
perceptions on societal development and societal
development governance in the history of the
mankind’s ideology since the emergence of
philosophical thoughts in the conscious life of human
beings and the mankind when the ancient philosophy
was shaped from the theoretical perspective, and when
society had a state and became a political society from
the governing practice. He assumed that the history
began in parallel with theoretical thoughts and the
nature of societal development and theory on societal
development governance profoundly commenced from
the practice, the social life and above all the production
reality, labor activities and economic life that
logistically led to the political life, societal
relationships, and cross-cultural exchanges. It was of
the fact that unveiled the expression capacity and selfexpression
of human beings, forces characterized by
human nature in the historical course, making human
beings become actors, governors as history makers and
society creators “the second creator of nature” of
ourselves.
The author of this article also reiterated some case
studies and pointed out concerns need to be taken into
account and appropriately addressed in the practice of
societal management and societal development
governance. Simultaneously, he made some proposals
relating to issues urgently need to be studied and

introduced to Vietnam in the on-going renewal drive.
