APPLICATION OF THE "PRACTICAL VOCAL MUSIC METHOD" BY AUTHOR NICOLA VACCAJ IN TEACHING VOCAL MUSIC FOR MUSIC PEDAGOGY, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARTS EDUCATION
Abstract
In the Music Education training program, the Vocal Music module makes an important contribution to the accumulation of knowledge, skills, self‑control, and responsibility of learners to meet the output standards of the training program. The Vocal Music module provides learners with knowledge about the art of singing, vocal performance skills, and the ability to organize singing activities to serve students' career orientation after graduation. On the lecturer's side, to meet the teaching objectives of this very special course, right from the beginning with classifying vocals, timbre, and basic vocal techniques, developing Vocal techniques for each student throughout the learning process, complying with the requirements of the course curriculum, using mandatory learning materials and reference materials in the training program. With all of these teaching activities, the vocal instructor must be the one to choose appropriate materials and exercises that are directional for the entire process of training and developing the voice for each subject. , each student has very different abilities. Through practice and teaching experience, the author finds it extremely necessary to select and apply applied learning materials to train and develop students' singing throughout the continuous process. For that reason, the study꞉ "Application of the Practical Vocal Method" by Italian author Nicola Vaccaj (1790‑1848) in teaching vocal music for the Music Pedagogy Department, National University of Arts Education" is a practical and necessary issue.
