Practising economy and combating waste - urgent political tasks that need to be done forthwith
Abstract
Wasting in our country has resulted in grave consequences including hindering the
country’s development, depleting human and financial resources, deminishing production
efficiency, increasing the cost burden, missing out on development opportunities for the
country, and undermining the people’s trust in the Party’s leadership. Practising economy
and combating waste are two of the measures to augment resources, enrich the country,
take advantage of development opportunities, and contribute to making the Party and
political system stronger and stronger. Therefore, practising economy and combating
waste are to be an urgent critical requirement that needs constant attention in order to
become a hallmark of culture, ethics, self-awareness and voluntariness among every
agency, organization and among cadres, party members and people.
