Abstract

This article provides an overall assessment of the United States after one year of President Donald J. Trump's second term (January 2025 to January 2026). The analysis is based on the following aspects: domestic, foreign, security and defense, economy, and society. The research uses policy analysis methods, synthesizing secondary data from official sources and an academic evaluation framework. The results show that the second Trump administration (Trump 2.0) continues to reshape the role of the state, tariff and trade policies, immigration and border policies, national security, and a foreign policy strategy that is "America First." Some achievements are noted in consolidating central government power and boosting domestic production, but there are also many social instabilities, strong international reactions, and institutional challenges.
