The 2025 US National Security Strategy: Key Highlights, Impacts, and Implications for Vietnam

Abstract

On December 5^th 2025, the US National Security Strategy (NSS-2025), a 29-page document, was released, outlining the US perspective on various regions of the world. It also reflects the policy priorities of the Trump administration. Based on highlighting the key features of NSS-2025 and analyzing its impacts on the world, this article offers some implications for Vietnam in the current context.
