Enhancing the effectiveness of steam education in art activities for 5–6-year-old kindergarten children
Abstract
In the context of educational reform oriented toward the development of learner
competencies, STEAM education is receiving increasing attention, especially at the
preschool level - where the foundation for children’s holistic development is established. Integrating STEAM into educational activities, including art activities, not only enables children to learn through hands-on experiences but also fosters creative thinking and early problem-solving skills. This article focuses on clarifying the effectiveness of implementing STEAM education in organizing art activities for 5-6- year-old kindergarten children, while also proposing measures to enhance its practical application in early childhood education. These measures hold practical significance in improving the quality of preschool education
in the direction of innovation and comprehensive child development.
