DEPLOYING THE TOPIC OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF STUDENTS IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: PRACTICE AND PROPOSED TEACHING METHODS
Abstract
In the context of digital transformation of higher education, the University of Danang – Campus
in Kontum has encouraged students of Information Technology (IT) to conduct scientific research projects
related to internal digitalization needs. This article evaluates the implementation process of some typical
projects, such as management and notification applications for students, income management system for
staff and lecturers, one-stop information portal system and teaching management system. The projects were
highly appreciated by the council for their practical application and all won high prizes at the Universitylevel Scientific Research Student Conference. Based on the implementation results and lessons learned,
the article proposes a teaching model based on digital transformation projects to improve research and
practical implementation capacity for IT students. This model helps students access technology projects
in university and local environments, and provides a basis for other educational institutions to refer to,
promote digital transformation and improve training quality.
