SOLUTIONS TO ENHANCE THE SELF LEARNING CAPACITY OF POLITICAL THEORY SUBJECTS FOR STUDENTS AT HANOI UNIVERSITY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS
Abstract
Developing the self-learning capacity of learners is one of the most important goals in the
current reform of teaching and learning methods in our country. The core element enabling learners to
acquire this skill is their methodical and principled effort, guided scientifically by instructors, so that
learners can develop the necessary qualities and competencies for study, research, and the application of
knowledge in life. This article discusses the current situation regarding self-learning in political theory
subjects among students at Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports identifying limitations
and issues that hinder effective self-learning. It proposes some fundamental solutions to improve the selflearning capacity of students in Physical Education and Sports Pedagogy in the present context.
