Abstract
STEM education plays a crucial role in developing problem-solving skills, creative thinking,
and technological competence for lower secondary students in the context of digital transformation and
the Fourth Industrial Revolution. However, the management of STEM education in lower secondary
schools still faces several limitations, particularly in organizing instruction, providing teacher training,
and mobilizing resources. This article aims to assess the current situation of STEM education management
in lower secondary schools. The study employs surveys, expert interviews, document analysis, and field
observations conducted at several lower secondary schools. The findings show that although STEM
education management has received attention, implementation remains inconsistent; planning activities
are often formalistic; teachers lack the necessary skills to design STEM lessons; facilities are inadequate.
These findings provide an important basis for proposing appropriate management measures to enhance
the quality of STEM education implementation in lower secondary schools in the coming period
