Abstract

In the context of international integration and the strong impact of digital technology, educating revolutionary ideals for students is identified as a strategic and pivotal task aimed at shaping a firm political stance, pure moral qualities, and a spirit of dedication among the young generation. This paper employs content analysis of official documents combined with descriptive statistical analysis of official reports from the Youth Union of Dong Nai University during the period 2022–2025. The research objective is to assess the current situation, identify limitations, and propose solutions to further enhance the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in educating revolutionary ideals for students at Dong Nai University. The findings indicate that the Youth Union has effectively fulfilled its core role in building political will and fostering moral values among students through revolutionary action movements and student support programs. However, the study also reveals limitations such as: some activities remaining formalistic and lacking depth in awareness; insufficient application of digital technology; uneven student participation across faculties; and incomplete self-assessment reports with little attention to shortcomings. On this basis, the paper proposes specific solutions: renewing the content and methods of education in a modern, engaging, and practice-oriented manner; strengthening the application of digital technology and multimedia communication; improving the quality of Youth Union cadres to ensure pioneering spirit and leadership capacity; regularly identifying and promoting exemplary students; and enhancing self-assessment and internal critique mechanisms. These solutions not only contribute to improving the effectiveness of revolutionary ideal education but also provide a data-driven foundation and management orientation for Youth Union activities at Dong Nai University.
