MEASURES TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY TO USE VISUAL ELEMENTS IN TEACHING ART BY THEMES FOR 3RD-GRADE STUDENTS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THAI NGUYEN CITY, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE
Abstract
The study aims to propose measures to enhance the ability to use formative elements in teaching Art, contributing to the development of creative thinking and aesthetic competence among third-grade students in primary schools in Thai Nguyen city. The research employs methods such as theoretical research, practical surveys, and pedagogical experiments. Survey results show that teachers mainly use observation methods; however, the application of technology and formative elements in teaching remains limited. After the experiment, the experimental class achieved an average score of 2.30, higher than the control class (2.07). The number of students reaching a high level of creativity (Level 3) in the experimental class was 18, significantly surpassing the control class (14 students). Proposed measures, such as active teaching, integrating technology, and collaborating with parents, have significantly improved the ability to use formative elements. The research results not only have practical implications for teaching Art but also suggest new research directions for the comprehensive development of arts education.
