Abstract

This study raises questions about the impact of the 2018 General Education Curriculum on the professional activities of teachers at educational institutions. The article analyzes changes in teaching content, pedagogical methods, teacher training and the level of pressure in the process of adapting to the new program, thereby proposing practical support policies to improve professional capacity and improve teaching effectiveness. This study adopts a mixed qualitative approach, incorporating the analysis of academic literature and conducting in-depth interviews with administrators, educators at selected educational institutions, and experts with extensive experience in the implementation of the general education curriculum. The research results show that general education teachers all have difficulties in organizing teaching; feel pressure when adjusting lecture content to meet the requirements of knowledge integration as well as creating many activities, holding concurrent positions in conditions of lack of staff. Therefore, implementing effective support policies in training, improving facilities and reducing administrative workload are key factors in helping teachers adapt quickly and develop sustainably in the context of educational innovation.
