Abstract
In the context of educational innovation and the current 4.0 revolution, the teaching profession also needs to undergo transformations to align with the development trends of the era. Developing professional competencies for the teaching staff in general, and for young teachers in particular, is considered a practical task in the comprehensive reform of the education sector. For the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the young teaching staff is an integral part of the teaching force, directly determining the quality of training and development at the Academy. This article studies and objectively evaluates the current status of professional competency development for young teachers at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics through survey and interview methods, and based on that, offers several recommendations to enhance the professional competencies of young teachers at the Academy to meet the requirements of new tasks.
