Abstract
Salbutamol belongs to beta-agonist group. It is used in medicine for the treatment ofasthma, blocking of lung ducts,... However if it is used with high dose in castle feed toraise the meat/fat ratio in castle, it can adversely affect human health. Salbutamol inVietnam has been mainly analyzed in Laboratories by HPLC method usingcomplicated analytical process and having high cost. Capillary electrophoresismethod using capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection (CE-C4D) hasbeen known recently as a new analytical method with many advantages and wassuccessfully applied in Salbutamol determination in castle feed samples. However, alimitation of CE-C4D method is the low sensitivity that does not allow thedetermination of Salbutamol in food and in biological samples. In this article, we aim147to study on the solid phase extraction of Salbutamol in pig urine matrix, to assist thedetermination of low concentration of Salbutamol in these samples
