Enhance the role of trade unions in promoting workers’ benefits in enterprises
Abstract
Welfare is a broad category related to many aspects of social life that receives attention in different aspects and scopes. It is a fact that workers in enterprises are enjoying three main types of benefits: welfare benefits, enterprise benefits and trade union benefits. Over the past years, with the efforts of the State, enterprises and trade unions, the welfare regime for workers has been guaranteed and continuously improved. However, besides the achievements, there have been many limitations in the implementation of welfare policies that affects workers’ rights. In this research paper, the author analyzes the current situation of welfare policy implementation for workers, points out limitations and proposes some solutions to enhance the role of trade unions in promoting workers’ benefits in enterprises.
