School-based field placement for social work students at Hanoi National University of Education nowadays

Abstract

School-based field placement which is the activity of students at schools to practice as a professional school social worker has been placed an extremely important role in the social work training program, learn. This is the first step help students orient, determine and choose the best field for their future after graduation. In this paper, the authors want to mention the difficulties and advantages of students when practicing at the school premises. By analyzing secondary data on the needs of school social work practice activities, group discussions with students, practice instructors, and school staff, conduct In-depth interviews with 30 students. Then we proposed some solutions to improve the quality of school-based field placement in the current context.
