USING MULTI-CRITICAL ANALYSIS AND GIS TO IDENTIFY THE POTENTIAL AGRICULTURAL TOURISM DISTRICT SOC SON, HANOI

Abstract

Agricultural tourism is a type of tourism that combines agricultural activities with tourism development. Assessment of tourism potential is an important step in the policy making process of agri-tourism development. This study is based on the combination of two research tools in tourism potential assessment (multi-critical analysis and GIS), thereby identifying potential areas for agricultural tourism development in Soc district.  The article also proposes some recommendations to develop agri-tourism such as priority area planning, diversification of farm activities, solutions for infrastructure investment, services, etc in the low potential area of ​​Soc Son district.
