Abstract

Based on the structure, characteristics, the properties of the natural-anthropogenic landscape and the ecological demands of the plants, it is possible to analyze and evaluate the adaptation of plants according to each kind and kind group of landscape. Phu Yen province is a territory with a high diversity of components and elements forming the natural-anthropogenic landscape, creating a landscape system with high diversity of 132 kinds. Integrating the results of the assessment of ecological adaptation with the analysis of ethnic characteristics, the priority strategy for socio-economic sustainable development in the hilly and mountainous areas has identified the priority areas for development of Passion fruit. The suitable area for development of Passion fruit is up to 77,275.33 ha, concentrated in the western districts of Song Hinh, Son Hoa, Dong Xuan and Tay Hoa districts in the south of Phu Yen province. This is the basis for the formulation of socio-economic development policies associated with rational use of natural resources and environmental protection, especially the residence areas of the Ede, Ba Na and Cham ethnic minorities
