The development of financial companies and financial leasing companies in Vietnam

Abstract

 The development of financial companies and financial leasing companies has contributed significantly to not only the development of consumer finance but also the financial markets, followed by promoting financial inclusion in Vietnam. However, without the legal framework for the operation, the rapid increase in both the number of companies, the capital and the variety of products contains potential risks and spreads financial instability. This article analyzes the current state of development, legal frameworks and indicates policy implications for Vietnam.
