Applying artificial neural Networks to assess prominent factors affecting turnover intentions among public hospital doctors in Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
The main objective of this paper is to apply Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to assess prominent factors
affecting turnover intentions among public hospital doctors in Ho Chi Minh City. The quantitative analysis
methods are mainly employed in this. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 351 public hospital
doctors in 2018, by the convenience samples methods. Research results indicate that the turnover intentions
among public hospital doctors are influenced by factors such as work environment, organizational commitment,
promotion, payment, organizational trust and doctors’ characteristics such as levels of education, experiences.
