Advancing scientific research activities at Banking Academy of Vietnam in the present context

Abstract

In fulfilling the goal of comprehensive development of higher education in the spirit of Resolutions 14/2005/NQCP and 29/2013/NQ-CP on renovation of education, training and scientific research to meet the requirements
of industrialization and modernization in the context of market economy and international integration, economics
universities in Vietnam in general and Banking Academy of Vietnam in particular should pay special attention to
investment in scientific research activities, aside from maintenance and improvement of the training quality. This
article recaps some notable achievements in scientific research of the Banking Academy’s staff over the past
few years, thereby suggesting solutions to advance research activities at the Academy for the period until 2020.
