Joining TPP and AEC- Opportunities and challenges for human resources in the field of Accounting and Auditing in Vietnam

Abstract

2015 is the year of a range of important international events for Vietnam. The two most important events related to
the integration process of Vietnam are Trans- Pacific Partnership Agreement- called TPP and the ASEAN Economic
Community (AEC). Both the 2 events have a huge influence on the Vietnamese economy in general and on the field of
accounting- auditing in particular because this will be one of the 8 sectors having free movement of labor in the area
right after the forming of AEC. Within the scope of this article, the authors focus on the analysis of the impact of the
TPP and AEC to human resources in the field of accounting and auditing in Vietnam and then raising the suggestions for
training labor force in this sector to promote effectively the benefits that TPP and AEC offer
