Reasons for the difference in information literacy between male and female students

Abstract

    The difference in information literacy (IT) between the two groups of male and female learners has been found in previous studies. This article presents the results of research conducted to explore the causes leading to the difference in information literacy between two groups of male and female students. By semi-structured interviews with these two groups, the study found five reasons for the difference, including concentration, need for social interaction, and confidence in one's own abilities, technology skills, and overthinking personality.
