Abstract

Marine economy is a part of the national economy, have made an important contribution to the national economic development strategy and mentioned by the Communist Party of Vietnam in many congresses. To systematically generalize the Party’s position on marine economic development during the renovation period,
the author analyzed: The Party’s view on marine economic development through the Congresses from 1986 up to now. On that basis, The article mentions some solutions for sustainable development of marine economy in Vietnam during the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration today.
