Orientation for the application of market principles and private management in public management in Vietnam

Abstract

Expanding the application of elements of the market mechanism and operating forms of the private sector into the public administration, in the view of many international researchers, is not only a way to improve efficiency, but also to help the administration become flexible, get rid of the bureaucratic shell, to contribute to streamlining the organizational apparatus, improve competitiveness, to promote all resources to participate in state management, to meet the increasing requirements of citizens. State administrative reform in Vietnam in recent years has also applied many elements of the market mechanism and operational measures of the private sector to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
