COUNTERFEIT GOODS AND ITS IMPACT ON PRODUCT TRANSACTION AT VIETNAMESE E-COMERCE PLATFORMS
Abstract
This research aims to clarify the harmful effects and impacts of counterfeit goods on the economic market in general and on trading transactions on e-commerce exchanges in particular in Vietnam. By pointing out the growth potential of e-commerce exchanges as well as the challenges that these organizations face in the face of rampant counterfeiting. Thereby, helping businesses, sellers and consumers have an in-depth and multi-dimensional view of the above situation. Through the process of surveying and collecting data, by applying a mixed method combining qualitative and quantitative research, the research team has obtained extremely important results. The research results show that partly the impact of counterfeit goods on the e-commerce market, especially on consumers, the contents provided includes: distinguishing real and fake goods from consumers when using them on e-commerce platforms; the experience and impact of counterfeit goods in the hands of consumers; Acceptance attitude when buying fake goods and finally the awareness of consumers to prevent fake goods on e-commerce platforms.
