The sense of symbiosis between human and nature in the prose of Nguyen Tuan

Abstract

Looking for the marks, and the values for eco-literature in the works of the past, especially the ones of literary romance movement has become one of the tasks of eco-criticism. Among the authors of the modern Vietnamese literature, Nguyen Tuan is considered “a whole definition of the artist” who is infatuated in the journey all his life to find the Beauty. The prose of Nguyen Tuan has showed the sense of eco-criticism in both broad and narrow meanings. Therein, the language about the symbiosis nexus between human and nature is obviously revealed in the works of this romantic writer. This article presents a sensitive approach from the eco-critical perspective.
