According to Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, Viet Nam is currently accelerating investment in space infrastructure, scientific capabilities, and the application of satellite data strategies to support socio-economic development
and climate adaptation. These are also among the core product groups identified in the list of 11 strategic product categories under Resolution 57.
The Southern Region, in particular, is considered an urban–environmental “laboratory” of global significance—from climate adaptation challenges in the Mekong Delta to managing urban expansion in megacity regions.
Italy, a founding member of the European Space Agency (ESA) and a nation with a strong industrial–research ecosystem in space, brings strengths in advanced technologies, an outstanding academic network, and solutions for space connectivity, sustainability, and industry.
