SOME FACTORS AFFECTING NEEDS OF IMMIGRATION FAMILY ON EDUCATION SERVICES FOR CHILDREN IN BINH DUONG PROVINCE

Abstract

This article uses the capability approach proposed by Sen (1981). The capability of immigrant family can include a lot of aspects such as: income, employment, education, health, housing, cultural capital, social capital. The purpose of this article is to analysis the influence parental education, family’s income, family's cultural capital in order to identify the needs of immigration family on education services for children. The research data this article was surveyed from 348 immigration households in Thuan Giao Ward (Thuan An city) and My Phuoc ward (Ben Cat town). The results show capability of the immigrant household has influenced on the parent's point of view in cognized needs to use educational services for children, so, households have better capability, they have higher needs and more diversified.
