THE INTERACTION BETWEEN CULTURE AND ECONOMY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HANDICRAFT VILLAGES FROM THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL APPROACH

Abstract

The study of handicraft villages has always been an interesting subject because of the diversity of the population, production, especially the traditional and regional aspects as well as the economic efficiency of handicraft products. However, the study of handicraft villages is often viewed from separate perspectives such as folklore, culture, population, history, economy, etc. The strong interaction relationship of this subject is also rarely studied. The study of the interaction relationship between culture and economy from an anthropological approach clarifies the relationship of the production households in handicraft villages, in which economy and culture always strongly resonate over time.
