AN OVERVIEW OF TEACHING COMBINATORICS AND PROBABILITY

Abstract

Probability theory was formed very early and has always been efficiently employed in actual life. Putting probability and statistics theory into the general education program is inevitable. The major goal of the article is to propose an approach to the concept of probability that will help enhance the effectiveness of teaching and studying it in the high school mathematics program. The article discusses some experiences with improving the effectiveness of teaching counting rules, probability concepts, random variables, and related topics. Besides, from using typical examples, we focus on the axioms of set theory and mapping.
