Abstract

Evaluation of rice land change from Landsat satellite image data is the process of change assessment based on the land change map for rice cultivation. This is a map built from 2 current maps of rice land through NDVI index image analysis. The interpretation results show that the area of rice cultivation in 2010 is 10,698.74 hectares, in 2021 it is 10,080.22 hectares, a decrease of 618.52 hectares. The main reason for this fluctuation is that the farming process is not economically viable, which leads to a part of rice land converted to other uses. Therefore, the assessment of rice land changes is very necessary, which helps Nghia Hung district take more active measures in the management and appropriate use of rice land to improve productivity and affirm its position.
