Abstract

The development of traditional craft villages plays a crucial role in addressing employment issues, enhancing income for citizens and the country, transitioning the economic structure in rural areas, and preserving and promoting the nation's traditional cultural values. Research analyzing the current status of traditional craft village development in Bac Giang city reveals that the city has six villages with established crafts, where farmers enjoy stable incomes linked to the region. These villages also attract labor from other areas, contributing to poverty reduction. However, most industrial clusters in these craft villages have not yet developed technical infrastructure synchronously as per regulations, particularly in controlling environmental pollution. Therefore, for the sustainable development of these craft villages, it is essential to implement policies for the synchronous development of technical infrastructure and to enhance education and awareness among citizens and enterprises about environmental protection. This includes strictly regulating the responsibilities and obligations of manufacturing households by requiring contributions to environmental protection fees
