Abstract

During the movement of a car on the road, the adhesion coefficient at the wheels and the rolling resistance coefficient at the wheels may differ, thereby affecting the trajectory of the car's movement. This paper presents the research results on the influence of the adhesion coefficient and the corresponding rolling resistance coefficient of dry asphalt surfaces on the turning characteristics of a passenger car using the Monte Carlo method. The research findings can be applied to evaluate the rotational dynamics of passenger cars and provide some recommendations for the operation and use of passenger cars when entering curved roads
