THE INITIAL RESULT IN SELECTION OF PROMISING AVOCADO PLANTS IN SON LA AND NGHE AN.

Abstract

This study has been conducted in Son La and Nghe An provinces to identify good biotypes of avocado plants. The results of investigation have shown that, there are about 36 good avocado lines, of which, 16 have been selected as promising plants that meet the need of proposed requirement of productivity. These 16 selected lines have good growth, high productivity and quality. They will be good materials for breeding and selection of new varieties.
