BAD DEBTS IN VIETNAM’S BANKS.

Abstract

Bad debt is an unsolvable problem for the banking sector. This problem has not been thoroughly treated because these debts can only be transferred from the banks Vietnam asset management company (VAMC). Therefore, in the next time, bad debt will still be a difficult problem for the banking sector in Vietnam. The paper presents the current status of Vietnam banking system and bad debt situation recently, difficulties and specific points in the process of solving this problem in our country, which indicates a number of issues to consider and to resolve thoroughly bad debts in Vietnam’s banking sector, towards a stable and developed financial background in the era of integration.
