RESEARCH OF APPLYING THE LESS INVASIVE TREATMENT METHOD IN THE TREATMENT OF SPINAL PATHOLOGY

Abstract

                       Research of applying and completing 8 processes of laser puncture combined with big - long needle acupuncture and electromagnetic field combined with big - long needle acupuncture in the treatment of spondylosis and disc herniation of cervical and lumbar spine on 400 patients has given the results as follows: 1. Laser puncture combined with big - long needle acupuncture and electromagnetic field combined with big - long needle acupuncture have the effect of increasing the pain threshold, improving spinal range of motion, improving the quality of life for patients (p<0.05-0.01); 2. Laser puncture combined with big - long needle acupuncture and electromagnetic field combined with big - long needle acupuncture increase levels of chemical mediators involved in pain control mechanisms (-endorphin, catecholamines, cortisol) in the blood of patients (p<0.01); 3. Laser puncture combined with big – long needle acupuncture and electromagnetic field combined with big - long needle acupuncture have the effect of reducing the muscle contraction index on EMG using surface electrodes after 7 days of treatment, returning to near the value of normal people (p<0.01); 4. Laser puncture combined with big – long needle acupuncture and electromagnetic field combined with big - long needle acupuncture are the less invasive treatment method to be effective and safe in the treatment of spinal pathology (the indexes of pulse, temperature, blood pressure, breathing of the studied patient groups range in the physiological limit; none of complications occurs during treatment).
