ANALYSING THE ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY OF PRECAST, PRESTRESSED SLAB TECHNOLOGY ON BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION.

Abstract

                Bridge construction technology by prestressed concrete I, T girders and prestressed concrete voided slab appeared in Vietnam since 1960. Up to now, this technology has been popularly applied in the construction of short and medium spans. In this research, the authors have used the finite element method to model and design the bridge with 3 different spans (20 m, 25 m, 30 m) constructed by precast prestressed slabs, then compared the economic technical efficiency with the prestressed concrete I, T girder and prestressed concrete voided slab.
