State management of information and library activities through Library Law

Abstract

The highest regulatory document on information and library activities of our country was formerly the Library Ordinance issued by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on December 28, 2000. Up to now, along with the development of the society, some provisions of the Ordinance are no longer suitable and have not updated the changes of society. The Library Law was passed by the National Assembly and takes effect from July 1, 2020 to contribute significantly to improving the efficiency of state management of information and library activities in our country.
