Active learning method aims to meet the cdio output standards in the finance – banking, Trade Union University
Abstract
CDIO stands for Conceive Design Implement Operate, which means an educational framework that emphasizes engineering fundamentals placed in the context of ideation, design, implementation and operation products and systems in reality. This is a major international initiative conceived to meet the need of businesses and other worldwide stakeholders in enhancing students' ability to acquire basic knowledge as well as to enhance their personal and communication skills. The CDIO model is chosen by many universities to build and develop training programs in a reasonable, logical and scientific way, so that knowledge can be transformed into skills which can be applied in practice as required by employers during the innovation process. This article introduces some active learning methods at university level and the application of active learning methods in Banking and Finance majors - Trade Union University, to achieve the subject objectives and training programs according to CDIO, as well as meet the requirements of society.
